Samiir Dada: An Inspiration

We all know that everyone has some or the other problems in our lives. Life is easy for no one. The moment one lands up in a mess he or she thinks, I wish I was a child and life would be so easy, no one to scold me, being pampered all the time. But everyone has to grow up and learn to face life as it comes.
Life is not the same for everyone. We all might be going through some minor problems, like something related to job sphere, family, love, and we even think at times, man I wish I could die instead of facing this problem.
But what most of us fail to learn is to live life to the fullest. Well I am a kind of girl who tends to get upset with minor problems but yeah I handle myself very well but at times I really tend to get very frustrated. Recently I was really frustrated in life, let’s not get into the details about why I was frustrated but I was very depressed with things which were happening in life and had no patience for things to come back on track.
When all these problems coming one after the other I met this very sweet person Samiir Halady when I went for Korigad Trek with some colony friends.
Now you all might be thinking that when I am speaking about life in general how does Samiir come in the picture. Because he taught me how to live life. You know why he’s so different from the others? Samiir Dada suffers from a major kidney problem, he’s on dialysis. I don’t know the exact term what it is called. He is a regular trekker in spite of the kidney problems. Yes he’s not advised to do so due to his condition but no matter what goes wrong with him he doesn’t stop himself from doing what he wants to and living life the way he wants to. But yes he surely takes good care of himself. He is someone who takes life as a challenge. Sometimes I feel is he writing his own destiny. Friends its not that this man isn’t facing problems in his life, kidney problems are not any minor problems, he awaiting a kidney transplant since past few years, so life is more tough for him but he hides it with a smile on his face always.
He also works as a Business Development and Consulting Executive for a Consulting Firm at Lower Parel. He blogs regularly on http://adventuretourist.blogspot.com which has been recommended by the UK Kidney Research Foundation to inspire other kidney patients.
Read his blogs friends, trust me, your attitude towards your life will surely change. This is what we fail to do in life. We have no patience, little problems and we break down. We should learns from people like Samiir Dada who lives life happily no matter what.
Samiir Dada, people like you are very few. Its only because of you that I have started facing life with a smile. I owe this new attitude to you. Hats Off to You, Proud of you!

  1. Shruti,

It took me so long to collect my thoughts and respond to your blog post. I am really touched with this post. I am happy that my attitude helped you get more positive in life. I wish you all the best for everything in life.

Sometimes just because we are going thru something we are unable to think of a good solution to problems faced by us. It helps to get a third person perspective and thereby think of solutions. You need to start sharing your problems. It will help you in the long run
